Honoring A Life

James A. Moore, passed away on May 28, 2018, Memorial Day.

He was a Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Born in Woodbury, New Jersey he is preceded in death by his
parents: Tom and Carrie Moore, his brother: Tom Moore and his sister: Margie Geigenheimer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years:
Ann L. Moore. He also leaves behind his (2) children: James Bradley and Cynthia Louise along with their spouses and his grandchildren:
Emma and Kaia Moore.

James grew up in Dallas, Texas. He obtained a B.S. in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

                              Lifetime Accomplishments

James spent 20 years in the oil and gas industry beginning with Gulf Oil in Houston ,Texas, several years in outside sales with Acme Visible Records, Lo-Vaca Gathering Co., Amco Oil Company and Gulf States Engineering Company. He had long-term overseas assignments in both The Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

James served in The United State Navy ( NAvy Air ) between
1957-1967 and participated in the naval blockage during the Cuban Missile Crisis with Heavy Attack Squardron 7, Sanford, FL.

He was Charter President of the Almeda Rotary Club and a member of the FM Rotary Club located in Housaton, Texas.

He was President of the Association of Records Managment (ARMA) in Houston, Texas serving capacities. During his term, his education commitee started the first degreed program in records Management at Lonestar College
(Known in the beginning as North Harris County College 1972-1976).

James did volunteer work as an encourager with Between Jobs Ministry through the NW Bible Church.

He loved to travel and was fortunate to see a lot of beatiful places in the world.

James will receive a private military internment at Houston National Cemetery on June 8, 2018 at 10 A.M.

James' celebration of life will be held at Nothwoods Presbyterain Church on June 9, 2018 at 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, James requested that a donation be made to the Northwoods Presbyterian Church.
